Continuing a more than seven-decade-long charitable giving legacy, the Spahn & Rose Charitable Foundation presented $175,000 to 72 organizations in communities served by Spahn & Rose in 2022.
Representatives from charities that received Foundation gifts, as well as Spahn & Rose staff, convened on December 22 for Community Day to commemorate the wonderful work of those groups. During the ceremony, these individuals discussed how their groups are making a difference in their communities and were given ceremonial large cheques representing the Foundation’s grants.
Over the last decade, the Spahn & Rose Charitable Foundation has given more than $1.3 million to local organizations in the communities served by Spahn & Rose.
“As part of our company’s Core Values, we promise to give our time, talent, energy and resources to our communities,” Dave Davis, CEO of Spahn & Rose, a 2022 LBM Journal Dealer of the Year, stated. “We are a proud member of the communities we serve and believe in giving back through donations and volunteer work.”
The charities that receive Foundation grants address a wide range of community issues. Here’s how five Spahn & Rose Charitable Foundation grantees made a difference in 2022:
