MoistureShield Expands Distribution

Date:

MoistureShield, an Oldcastle APG hallmark brand, is teaming up with Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. to increase distribution of the manufacturer’s composite decking portfolio and recently added railing product line in Fombell, Pennsylvania and Millwood, Kentucky.

“We’re excited to partner with Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. as we continue to expand our decking distribution across North America and begin to grow our complementary railing line,” Matthew Bruce, Vice President of Sales at MoistureShield stated. “This is a win-win situation for both parties, and we look forward to the shared growth that will result from this collaboration.”

“We’re very excited to add the MoistureShield decking and railing products to our product portfolio in these key markets,” Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. Vice President and Chief Sales Officer Chuck Dickert remarked. “The team and resources supporting these products aligns extremely well with our core values and commitment to provide quality products with first-class service to our dealers.”

The Solid Core Difference is used in all MoistureShield products to assure moisture resistance and allow installation in the ground, on the ground, or even underwater. MoistureShield’s premium Vision range of capped composite decking contains DiamondDefense Coating and CoolDeck Technology, which reduces heat absorption by up to 35% when compared to regular composite boards in similar colors.

MoistureShield’s high-performance decking is complemented by its Solid Core composite railing, which, like the deck planks, is water-resistant. Compass aluminum railing and Fathom steel railing complete the portfolio by providing a complete spectrum of material types. MoistureShield deck railing systems are available in a variety of infill and top rail options in a variety of traditional and unusual hues.
