Grasons Celebrates Earth Day with Estate Sales by Going Green

Date:

As Earth Day approaches, Grasons, a leading estate sale and business liquidation service, encourages individuals to go green by organizing an estate sale rather than hiring a rubbish removal service.

Adult children frequently don’t know what to do with a house full of goods, but Grasons wants to educate them on the environmentally beneficial choice of estate sales.

“At Grasons, we believe that holding a liquidation sale is not only a great way to clear out items you no longer need, but it’s also an eco-friendly solution,” Grasons Founder & Brand President Simone Kelly stated. “Estate sales and business liquidations not only minimize waste but also give a venue for others to find new homes for products they no longer require. It benefits both the environment and the community.”

Here are some of the environmental benefits of estate sales:

Liquidation sales help to reduce waste by relocating products that would otherwise end up in landfills.
Items sold during liquidation sales are reused and recycled, keeping them out of landfills and decreasing the demand for new resources.
Liquidation sales promote sustainable living by encouraging people to buy used rather than new things.

“Our liquidation sales regularly sell about 90% of the contents in every home,” Kelly explained. “What little is left over is usually donated and the only trash produced from an entire estate sometimes will fill a single trash can.”

“Grasons is dedicated to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting sustainability in every sale,” Kelly stated. “By educating the public about the green side of estate sales, we hope to make a positive impact on the environment and encourage others to follow our lead.”
