Deckorators recognized in Good Housekeeping 2023 Home Renovation Awards

Date:

Deckorators, a brand of UFP Industries, Inc., announced on October 9 that its patented Voyage Mineral-Based Composite Decking had been named a winner in the prestigious Good Housekeeping 2023 Home Renovation Awards.

Deckorators invented the low-maintenance aluminum balusters category and has since led the industry with innovative decking and railing products. Deckorators’ consistently on-trend designs enable DIYers and builders to extend their creative ideas from a home’s interior to its outdoor living spaces.

“We are honored to have our Voyage Decking line recognized with this award,” Deckorators Category Marketing Manager Michelle Hendricks says. “Voyage was specially designed to provide a timeless, versatile look for outdoor living spaces that will stand the test of time.”

Deckorators Voyage Decking is made with a patented mineral-based composite technology that creates a fiber-like structure that is similar to wood. It has unrivaled strength while being 35% lighter than other composites. Voyage is ideal for decks, as well as areas around pools, spas, and hot tubs, thanks to its unique textured embossing for increased surface traction. Contractors and do-it-yourselfers can create custom wood-look floors with Voyage Varied-plank Decking, which is available in four widths and six colors.

“Homeowners are moving away from playing it safe in their outdoor living designs,” Hendricks continues. “Now more than ever, they’re seeking opportunities to add personality into those spaces. Our Voyage line was developed with that in mind, offering countless combinations for customization.”

Voyage Varied-plank Decking is stronger, allows less thermal movement, and absorbs less moisture than other multi-width PVC decking options, allowing Deckorators to back Voyage with industry-leading 50-year structural and 25-year stain-and-fade limited warranties.

Deckorators’ expanding network of over 800 contractors across North America brings outdoor living to life across the country.
