The very first official photograph of “Ocean’s 8” is finally released and it looks stunning!
The all-girls spinoff of the George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon’s Ocean’s Eleven franchise is on its way to the big screen.
Ocean’s 8 will hit theaters across the U.S. on June 8, 2018.
The first official image of the crew was taken on a New York City subway.
It shows (left to right) Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, and Sarah Paulson.
Their pose at this image reminds us viewers of the Ocean’s Eleven ending scene where the all-male crew stares at the fountain of Bellagio in Las Vegas after successfully pulling their amazing heist.
Sandra Bullock will play the role of Debbie Ocean, the estranged sister of Danny Ocean (George Clooney).
She wanted to pull off one of biggest heist in the history and her target – the New York City’s star-studded annual Met Gala.
But for her to do that, she needs to form a group, an amazing crew to help her out.
Every member of her group must be skilled at something so she ended up recruiting Lou (Cate Blanchett), Rose (Helena Bonham Carter), Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway), Nine Ball (Rihanna), Tammy (Sarah Paulson), Amita (Mindy Kaling), and Constance (Awkwafina).
And because their target is the star-studded Met Gala, there will be lots of cameo appearances of Hollywood celebrities and stars.
Sources said that Anna Wintour, Alexander Wang, Zac Posen, Derek Blasberg, Lauren Santo Domingo, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Katie Holmes, Olivia Munn, Hailey Baldwin and Zayn Malik are all confirmed to make cameo appearances on the film.
James Corden, Dakota Fanning, Richard Armitage and Matt Damon (reprising his role as Linus Caldwell) will also have their short stints on the film.
Damian Lewis will play the role of the main villain and the target of the group.
And because of the all-stars line up of the film and considering how amazing the Ocean’s franchise is, Ocean’s 8 (originally titled as Ocean’s Ocho) is now considered as one of the most anticipated movie of 2018.

The film is directed by Gary Ross (The Hunger Games, Free State of Jones) and it will be distributed by Warner Bros.
