ABC Supply Co., Inc. has recommitted to creating life-changing wishes for children with severe illnesses with a new $3 million donation, according to Make-A-Wish.
ABC Supply has helped grant the desires of over 300 children countrywide since becoming a national partner in 2020.
“For three years, ABC Supply has made a profound impact on wish kids across the country, and we’re thankful for their continued support as we work together to grant the wish of every eligible child,” Leslie Motter, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America, commented. “Our partnerships are invaluable so that we can continue to create hope for wish families going through the unimaginable.”
In the United States, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness per hour. ABC Supply’s donation would benefit children like Genesis, an 8-year-old cancer patient who hoped for a backyard treehouse. The ABC Supply staff in Coal Valley, Illinois, assisted in making her wish a reality by contributing construction materials. Genesis can now play outside and enjoy being a kid thanks to her new treehouse. ABC Supply team members have volunteered their time and supplied wish-specific resources in various towns across the country to help grant wishes.
“Giving back is at the heart of our business and culture,” ABC Supply’s chief operating officer, Mike Jost, stated. “Make-A-Wish is an extraordinary organization, and we’re so happy to continue supporting their mission and efforts to grant wishes and deliver hope to many more deserving children.”
